I was recently contacted on Twitter by Marc Smilow, a New York Yankees fan and father of 10 year old Haley. During the 2011 season, the Smilow family took a Yankees road trip throughout the month of August, following the team on the road for a number of games. In 31 days they were able to see 26 games against 12 teams in 7 stadiums and 5 states. Pretty incredible, right? Well, it gets even better.
Through Baseball Youth Magazine, Haley was given the chance to interview my favorite baseball player, Curtis Granderson! The young girl has a dream of one day becoming a journalist, and it looks like she's already off to a great start.
